Kooij wins the third stage of the Tour of Guangxi of 134.3 km with start and finish in Nanning.

The short climb (1.4 km at 11.5%), located 20 km from the finish line, puts some sprinters in difficulty who, however, manage to return in the following flat stretch.

At -8 km Plapp and Jorgenson attempt a joint attack but are immediately caught by the main group.

The stage is therefore decided for the third time out of three with a group sprint: this time Olav Kooij manages to find the winning streak and triumphs at the finish line in Nanning ahead of Pluimers and Van den Berg .

The leader's jersey passes from the shoulders of Milan to those of the Belgian De Bondt who, on the run all day, gains the necessary bonuses to overtake the Bahrain rider Victorius.
