Jonas Vingegaard present. Good field of sprinters.
A very delicate week for the Fantacycling season with the Tour of Poland scheduled from 12 to 18 August, but above all with the Vuelta that will start on Saturday 17. It will be necessary to carefully plan the exchanges to be made since the riders who will participate in the short Polish stage race cannot be sold before the start of the Vuelta.
The Tour of Poland includes seven stages with three sure sprint finishes (stages 4-5-7) and a 15-kilometer individual time trial in the second fraction, with the second part slightly uphill. The first and third stages include two uphill finishes, where the fast riders who can handle the steep climbs could play for victory, while the queen fraction will be the sixth with four longer climbs in the finale.
Vingegaard seems certain to be there, as he would start as the favorite, despite a poor performance in the San Sebastian classic. As usual, the UAE Team Emirates with Wellens and Majka will challenge the Dane. Mohoric , winner last year, will try to repeat his feat with Pello Bilbao in the Bahrain Victorius. Other riders who could fight for a good placing are Nys, Sheffield, Kelderman, Schachmann and Bardet.
Several sprinters will compete for victories in the group sprints: Merlier , Pedersen , Kooij , Bennet, Thijssen Molano, Meeus, Ewan, Bauhaus and Dainese.
We also point out the presence of Pithie , Gregoire , Ulissi, Scaroni, Bagioli and Onley, all riders capable of fighting for a stage victory, especially in the first and third stages.
