With the 2024 season now over, it’s time to update the situation regarding professional teams and their ability to receive wildcards for 2025 World Tour events.

The top two professional teams this season are Lotto Dstny and Israel Premier Tech : the two teams are ranked 9th and 10th overall and will be sure to participate in every WT event next year.

Team Uno-X is also smiling, 3rd in the special ranking (and 18th overall), which will be able to participate in all the one-day WT races.

Then there are eleven professional teams whose presence at the most important races will not be guaranteed, but decreed from time to time by invitations from the organizers; among these are the Italians Bardiani and Polti Kometa.

Finally, certain not to take part in the 2025 Grand Tours, there are Team Corratec, Team Flanders and Team Novo Nordisk. The three teams are outside the top 40 and therefore are consequently excluded from the Giro, Tour and Vuelta.
