The German team: "It will be the real start for us"

In 2024, Red Bull entered cycling not so much by taking flight as by tiptoeing, joining forces with Team Bora , but in 2025, the brand of the well-known energy drink aims to reach the highest levels.

The results, however, have not been lacking, with Primoz Roglic winning the Vuelta , Daniel Felipe Martinez finishing second at the Giro d'Italia and 24 victories in total. Of course, the gap with UAE will be difficult to fill, especially with the presence of Tadej Pogacar , the true dominator of 2024, but Red Bull is aiming high for next season.

“In 2024, Red Bull’s presence was limited to the space on the jersey and no more,” the team’s performance sector chief, Dan Lorang , told Velo. “The real departure for us will be next season. There will be a lot of changes.   that will become effective, more people will work for us and there will be new opportunities to improve performance and have wider access to the facilities we have available."

The German team should have a budget of around 45 million Euros ; we will see if it will be enough to bridge the gap with the UAE team and to definitively take flight.
