Short stage race between Belgium and the Netherlands: many sprints and difficulties in establishing who will fight for the general classification
The Renewi Tour kicks off on August 23rd: 5 stages including an individual time trial, 3 arrivals suitable for a group sprint and a tougher stage with several climbs and walls, destined to make the difference for the general classification.
For the final victory, the favorites will be classic riders and strong against the clock. Matej Mohoric (Bahrain-Victorius), fresh from victory in the Tour of Poland, starts with the degrees of favourite. Other potential winners are Kwiatkowski and Tarling (Ineos Grendiers), Bjerg and Wellens (UAE Team Emirates), Asgreen (Soudal QuickStep) and Wright (Bahrain Victorius).
Many points available with group sprints: the number one sprinter, Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin Deceunick) will be present. Other fast wheel names are those of Kooij , Merlier , Groenewegen , Demare , De Lie and Meeus .
Among the Italians present, we point out Milan for the sprints and Trentin , suitable for all types of racing terrain.
