The Slovenian falls, comes back on Pidcock and breaks away from him on Colle Pinzuto

Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) wins the 2025 Strade Bianche (213km), ahead of a combative Pidcock .

10 riders attempt to break away in the first part of the race, but the group chases at a high pace and, thanks to the work of UAE Team Emirates, a lot of them are selected in the 5-star sections of Serravalle and San Martino in Grania .

On Monte Sante Marie Pidcock attacks from the group reduced to thirty men and only Pogacar manages to follow him . The two, under the push of the Slovenian, reach the initial escape, with Swift who sticks to their wheel.

Behind them, about 1' behind, a group of 8 pursuers forms. Just before the start of the final circuit, Pogacar slips on the descent , but quickly manages to get up and catch up with Pidcock at the top of Colle Pinzuto.

On the second pass on Colle Pinzuto Pogacar attacks, Pidcock tries to resist, but has to give in. The world champion flies towards the finish line, taking yet another solo victory .

In second place was Pidcock who resisted Wellens ' attempt to come back, completing the podium.
