The Tour de France and the Vuelta a España have announced the 23 teams that will take part in the two stage races organised by ASO.

Among the professional teams, Tudor, Pinarello Q 36.5, and Team Cofidis will automatically participate in the Grande Boucle , while Total Energies and Caja Rural have received wild cards. Unibet Rose Rockets , which seemed likely to be among the twenty-three teams at the start, has therefore been excluded.  

At the Vuelta , however, the organizers have chosen two Spanish WildCard teams from the 18 WorldTour teams and the three eligible Professional teams that have all accepted the invitation: Burgos Burpellet BH and Equipo Kern Pharma. Caja Rural – RGA, which will, however, be competing in the Tour de France, has been excluded from the home GT.
