Kaden Groves won the 20th stage of the Tour de France, from Nantua to Pontarlier, 184 km.

The sprinter in the Alpecin jersey achieved a feat on a stage with approximately 3,000 meters of elevation gain. Having started in the breakaway with other riders including Tim Wellens, Matteo Jorgenson, and Jordan Jegat (who overtook Ben O'Connor for tenth overall), he was left alone after Ivan Romeo and Romain Gregoire crashed in the rain. He then outdistanced Jake Stewart and Frank Van den Broek to reach the finish line alone. It was his first Tour de France victory.

Van den Broek of Picnic finished behind him at 54" and Pascal Eenkhorn of Soudal Quick Step at 59". Simone Velasco finished fourth.

The group of the yellow jersey, Tadej Pogacar, arrives more than 7 minutes late.

Tomorrow the series concludes with the final stage in Paris, this time on the Montmartre circuit.
