Lorena Wiebes won the second stage of the women's UAE Tour, from Al Mirfa Bab Al Nojoum to Madinat Zayed by 113km.

Even today it was a sprint that decided the outcome of the race: the athlete of Sd Worx - Pro Time, with her second consecutive success in the Emirates race, once again preceded two Italians: second Chiara Consonni of the Uae Team, third Clara Copponi of Lidl Trek.

Wiebes maintains the lead in the general classification. Tomorrow the third stage with an uphill finish in Jebel Hafeet.
