La Polynormande: Hugo Page triumphs

Hugo Page (Cofidis) showed off his physical power in a breathtaking uphill sprint to win La Polynormande and take his first victory of the season.

Behind him, an excellent Sandy Dujardin (TotalEnergies) finished in second place, confirming himself as a rider to watch in similar races to come, while Page's teammate Alex Aranburu (Cofidis) completed the Cofidis double by placing third in a tight sprint that provided a spectacle right up to the final metre.

It's worth noting that Decathlon CMA CGM, which dominated the race in the last two editions, was outmatched this year: Noa Isidore had to settle for fourth place.
