Loland wins the Matteotti Trophy

Sakarias Loland (Uno-X Team) wins the Trofeo Matteotti, a 195km race in Pescara.

The circuit around the Adriatic city does not make any particular selection in its 13 laps: there are several attempts, all stopped.

During the final lap, three riders attempted to attack: Gregoire , Crescioli, and Delettre . The move seemed successful, but on the downhill stretch following the final climb, the group managed to catch the attackers.

This leads to a compact sprint on the final straight that leads to the finish line. There are no large groups, but the most organized formation is Uno-X, which launches Loland perfectly, with the Norwegian ahead of Crescioli and Cosnefroy .
