Niklas Behrens joins Team Visma

Niklas Behrens will be a rider for Team Visma-Lease a bike next season: the Dutch team has not let one of the most interesting talents around slip away.

The German is a runner who is still all to be discovered : born in 2003, in fact, he practiced other endurance sports when he was young, such as swimming and triathlon, and only entered the world of cycling two years ago, during which he raced with Lidl Trek Future Racing .

Behrens's powerful physique ( 1.95 m ), combined with an excellent speed, which we were able to admire right at the end in Zurich, suggests a possible future as a man for the Northern classics , especially those on cobblestones. Furthermore, thanks to his power, he could become a very good time trialist , a specialty in which he has already shown flashes of talent.
