The 2008 class spoke to our microphones
Vincenzo Carosi became Italian Junior champion last season, winning the Porto Vecchio road race (132 km) ahead of Pezzo Rosola and Pascarella.
The 2008-born rider, who rides for the Work Service Team Coratti , will be riding a Drali bike this season and, during an interview, he told us something about himself and expressed his hopes for the future.

Where do you come from?
I come from Vetralla, in the province of Viterbo.
How does it feel to wear the Italian champion's jersey for the first year?
For me, wearing this shirt is a unique emotion , I'm very happy and it also gives me a lot of motivation for the next seasons.
What changed after the victory?
After that victory, almost everything changed: my competitors now look at me differently, and I'm happy and proud of this.
What are your hopes for this season?
First of all, to reconfirm my place in the Italian championship , which this year is held in my region; then, to obtain excellent placings throughout the season.
What was the best moment of the whole season?
The best moment was obviously the success in the Italian championship and immediately after the victory at the Aglianico del Vulture Trophy wearing this jersey.
What do you expect from the future?
After the Juniors I hope to move to a Devo or a Continental team , but in any case I hope to stay in the cycling world as long as possible.
