Here are the races that the young Belgian will compete in

Arnaud De Lie will participate in the Tour de France 2024. The announcement came yesterday during the Lotto Dstny media day.

"And if I am selected, it is also good preparation for the Games. Furthermore, there are stages that can suit me, more than the Vuelta de España," said De Lie. The young Belgian, considered one of the strongest talents around, will run his first major stage race in France.

"Everyone knows that a stage of the Tour de France can change your career," said De Lie, who has the aim of winning at least one Northern Classic in the spring.

Its race programme, in the first part of the season, includes the debut in Murcia and Almeria in February, then Omloop, Paris-Nice, Milan-Sanremo, E3 , Ghent-Wevelgem (to be confirmed), Dwars , Flanders and Roubaix . Before the Tour he should race the Tour of Switzerland. Afterwards he would like to be at the start of the Olympic road race in Paris.

"This year I would like to raise my arms to the sky in one of the important races that will take place in Flanders" he concluded. De Lie, who will turn 22 in March, has won 19 races so far including the Quebec GP, the 2023 World Tour race.

In the meantime, Lotto has already announced that it will not be present at this year's Giro d'Italia, thus leaving room for other Professional teams to seek an invitation.
