Curiosity for Bernal, Jakobsen and Bennett are also at the start

After the World Tour, the long season of ProSeries racing also kicks off with the Vuelta a San Juan .

On the other side of the world, in Argentina, it has been racing since Sunday 22 January after a three-year stop caused by Covid. The last edition, in 2020, was won by Remco Evenepoel : the world champion himself, whose cost to Fantacycling is 60 fantamillions, is the number one favorite for the final victory but will have to beware, in particular, of the South American riders. For the rest it will be the festival of sprinters (presented by Fabio Jakobsen, Sam Bennett, Fernando Gaviria, Danny Van Poppel, Peter Sagan and our Elia Viviani and Giacomo Nizzolo) with at least four stages suitable for sprints.

So riders like Sergio Higuita from Bora, Daniel Martinez from Ineos, and Miguel Angel Lopez , making his debut with Team Medellin (but not purchasable at Fantacycling because his team is Continental) should fight for a good placement in the general classification.

Egan Bernal also returns to racing: the Colombian, after the serious accident a year ago, remains a question mark for the fantasy managers and insiders. Among the possible protagonists we would also like to name Quinn Simmons of Trek, Einer Rubio of Movistar, Marco Brenner of Team Dsm and yet another rider of Soudal Quick Step: Jan Hirt .

Large Italian participation with Viviani and Nizzolo will be Filippo Ganna and the Eolo, Bardiani and Corratec formations. There is also the blue team led by Francesco Lamon.

Curiosity: Oscar Sevilla , the longest-lived runner of the group at 46 years old and winner of the Argentine race in 2018, is also at the start.

The route includes seven stages and an uphill finish at Alto de Colorado at an altitude of 2623 metres , a climb that is not entirely impossible but very long, with 18.8 kilometers at 4.4%.

Please note that ProSeries races are only playable in public and private leagues and have a special scoring category . Find out the details on our website Rules | Fantacycling (fanta-cycling.com) .
